Finance Functions

  • Preparation of financial statements (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually)
  • Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Ensure proper documentation and posting on Quickbooks in line with office policy
  • Substantiate financial transactions with source documents
  • Maintain and document accounting and internal controls by preparing and recommending policies/procedures.
  • Reconcile payables and receivables accounts
  • Carryout bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Petty Cash management
  • Invoicing of goods in line with approved standards
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups
  • Maintain bank accounts and officer relationship
  • Analyze financial information and summarise financial status
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Provide schedule for audit purposes
